On this day in the early spring of 2008, Steven Heidelberg was only doing his job when he ended up in the wrong place, at the wrong time. He crossed paths with the very dangerous and deadly Russian assassin Ivan Morozov, who had been using the name Stan Emerson and was in Florida attempting to locate Steven’s boss, Ernie Radix, who had stolen millions of dollars from the Russian government. Morozov was sent here to get it back, before Radix, who was awaiting trial, was sent to jail for the crimes that he had committed.
After his near death encounter with the dangerous and deadly Russian assassin, Steven Heidelberg was in a fight for his life and his journey became an endless battle filled with pain and death.

Hi, I have to add, I like thrillers and got this book from amazon.com, I started reading it last Saturday and by the time I finished reading chapter 4, I couldn’t put it down anymore. I had to find out how Claudia turned out and what happend in the rest of the story. I was in shock and just couldn’t get it out of my mind. This book was just fun to read and, I have to thank the author for it. I can’t wait for the next book by this author.
Thanks for the comment Jeff, because I read this book too, I got it from Barnes&Nobles, and I was crying after chapter 4, it really touched me, I wanted to know how it ended, so I couldn’t put it down. This is a really good book and I know a lot of people are going to be talking about it soon. I hope the author is going to write another one, too. I am waiting for the next one. Raymond Beresford Hamilton is a good author. A fan, Manon.
I’m still numb after reading this book. It is a chilling story, I’m going to be looking out for the author’s new books too. These are my favorate types of books. Great story and lots of stuff going on…my friends from my book club have read this too.
I picked this book up because it looked like such a good suspense thriller which are my favorite stories.
I read through this book so fast because it is non-stop suspense and action and it keeps going! The many plots keep you guessing till the end, and the twists in the story are chilling! It is definitely a good read.
The combination of action, suspense and Love are written very well in this book, and I have recommended it to all my friends.
I cannot wait for another book by Raymond Beresford Hamilton.
The intimate scenes were nice and vivid, the next book should be a hot romance. I enjoyed reading it a lot and I’m sure I’ll read it a few more times. Its an entertaining book.
I really enjoyed reading this story. So is Steven going to continue to live a normal life or will that be it for hm? Will he have an affair with his ex wife or will the Russians hire him to train the army? Tell me more!

i wish to see the movie too now, i couldn’t put the book down until I knew how it ended. I think this is will be a great movie.
I just finished the book today and I have to say and agree with last comments it was hard to put the book down. I had to find out what happened with Steven and how is life would turn out. Needless to say Im impressed and has left me wanting more of this story. I want to know if this mans life will ever return to what it was before and if he will in the end want to be with his wife and children again. From a female audience you got me hooked on those sexy moments and the emotional level the characters shared. When is the next book coming out? Absolutely a must read!
I was lucky enough to met the author at Yongsan, Seoul, S Korea and got a signed copy of the book. I completed the book the day I purchased it as I had to know how things turned out. It really held my interest! I was suprised, but pleased with the ending. I can’t wait for Hamilton’s next book – which I know he is currently working on. I will be looking for it!!
